"Follow up to follow up to follow up to shocking..."

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

This is my fourth post here, it seems to be the only way to get a response, so, here we go again. It is now the last day of September, I am still awaiting the results of your "investigation" as to why my daughter spent 7 hours in A&E 2 days after giving birth, and did not over the course of two days, actually receive any treatment, apart from 1 prescription, when she needed 2, and a total of more than 12 hours waiting on hard chairs with a 2/3 day old baby. I received an e-mail on the 19th of this month, which is over a month since the actual incident, which stated that the results of your "investigation" were in the stages of their final draft. Hmmm, am I to believe that it takes 11 days to type this up and send it out in the post, or possibly should I believe I am being ignored in the hope that I will go away? May I say either possibility is very shoddy indeed. I cannot believe you do not have enough information by now to format an answer to my questions. Surely you cannot still be gathering information from anyone as it would be too long ago for anyone to remember the incidents. I hope to hear from you very soon, am now counting the days waiting for a response, today we are at day 41, (43 days, since first incident) and I do not intend to go away. NB I think I should be asking where I complain about the complaints department!

We apologise that you have had cause to complain. You should have now received a full written report to your complaint.
