"Visit to ENT outpatients"

About: Hereford County Hospital

I recently visited the outpatients dept of ENT after being referred by my GP for a long standing problem with my ears. I was given hearing tests then sent to see the doctor. The Dr didnt ask any questions other than do I grind my teeth at night, he looked in my ears and then told me there was nothing he could do. I had been suffering with my ear problem for around 5 years and it causes me a lot of distress. The Dr spent less than 5 minutes with me, didnt ask if i had any questions and seemed in a real hurry to get rid of me, also i felt that he thought i was wasting his time. I left feeling very upset and low, and with lots of unanswered questions. very disapointing. My experience of the children's ward has always been fantastic so its a shame that the Dr I saw has changed my view of the hospital.
