I had a post operative review at Winston Churchill wing fibroid clinic today. Saw a female Professor who runs the clinic and found her bedside manner to be rude and she treated me with a level of arrogance that I had never experienced before. When I walked into the office a woman was sitting in the far corner. The Prof made no attempt to tell me who she was and why she was sitting in on what was a private medical appointment. I was too stunned at the way I was being spoken to and treated that I didn't ask who this person was. As far as I am aware she should have got my permission first or at least introduced me to this person. Do I matter so little that I am treated with no respect at all? This prof needs to review the manner in which she treats her patients. Owing to the way she spoke to me I felt belittled and could not get out of there soon enough.
