I paid privately to have a gastric band at the Claremont Hospital, Sheffield a few months ago. I couldn't have had it on the NHS as my weight was not high enough for my GP to refer me.
Every member of staff I came across treated me with respect, the care and follow up was and still is fantastic. I cannot thank my specialist nurse enough. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself.
