"Epigastric hernia repair"

About: Colchester General Hospital

I had an epigastric hernia repair in May 2013. The wait was 7months from GP to Hospital, but it was well worth it! The team did a first rate job, and I felt well cared for pre operatively, and post operatively. The anaesthetists made me laugh at the worst bit that I was aware of (Thank you) The operation, or repair, went very well - afterwards I took 2 paracetamol, and no other pain killers were needed at any point. I had the same nurse pre-op and post-op as she was working a split shift. She was lovely, and that was helpful. My scar is fading all the time, and hardly shows. Many thanks to all the team. Felicity Wall (Mrs Deborah Felicity Wall)
