I received a message saying LGH wanted me to call back about an appointment they were trying to arrange for me, so I rang back. About 10 times! I got through on the 11th attempt. All the previous times I got through to a fax machine. I was told the date was the following Wednesday 12th. We had another appointment on the following Wednesday so duly called to re-arrange, as I felt the biopsy to more important. The lady said "you have an appointment for Wednesday, but that's the 11th, not the 12th" As this appointment was to arrange a wedding it too was fairly important. I rang LGH back, only to get a fax machine on the first 5 calls. Once I got through I explained that I needed clarification ASAP. The lady told me she'd ring back soon. This was around 1:30 in the afternoon. At 4:15 I thought I'd better chase up the clarification. I rang around 5 times, giving up at 4:55. Each one of those 5 times it was the fax machine again! I rang the following morning at around 9:10. Whoopee, no fax machine. She then knew the correct date, Thursday 12th, of the top of her head. Having explained how urgently I needed to know, I think the timeline is wholly unacceptable! And, why is a direct link connected to a fax machine the majority of the time?
