I am the carer of a patient who was on ward B3 at the Queen's Medical Centre in May and ward D57 at the Nottingham City hospital in June following a stroke. The best thing about their experience was the treatment they received from the A&E staff, as they were brilliant.
The ward staff were not so good - there was a total lack of communication and very little information was given to the patient on discharge. Further, upon being discharged from the QMC, the patient was worse than when entering and received no follow-up or aftercare whatsoever.
Thank you to all staff in resuscitation and A&E, and to the paramedics.
"Thank you to A&E and paramedics"
