"The elderly"

About: Lister Hospital

I feel very very let down with the standard of care that my Dad received while he stayed in your Hospital. After being transferred from another hospital for breathing problems to contacting two chest infections, and C-Diff and then dying in the space of three weeks does not make any sense what so ever. And some of the medical team didn't seem to care for his needs. To be left in the corner of a ward not knowing what was happening just makes me feel so frustrated. I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy, to sit with my Dad and watch him take his last breath is heart breaking. It was like he's 86 so let him go don't worry about him,

Clearly these concerns need investigating - if you have not made a formal complaint already, please can you email us on generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net so that we can get this started for you right away. Irrespective of the circumstances, you deserve answers to the important matters that you have raised. We do hope that you will make contact so that we can look in to your father's care for you, but in the meantime please accept our deepest sympathies following his death.
