"Nothing but praise"

We have nothing but praise and grateful thanks for all the staff who dealt with us when our younger daughter was admitted and required major surgery last month. It was an extremely worrying time and our whole family were treated with honesty, empathy and kindness. The care given to our daughter was outstanding and we were enabled to remain with her throughout her stay which was so vitally important to us as parents. Staff were clearly busy but nothing was ever too much trouble and our questions were never too many. As a former NHS employee myself I know just how hard it is to achieve that impression and that I probably fell short many times. She is now recovering well and we will be eternally grateful to the dedicated teams that cared for her.
