6 weeks ago I had all of my thyroid removed, at the Nottingham City Hospital.
I had the operation on the same day I went in, and was discharged from Harvey 1 Ward 3 days later.
The operation was a success and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of my recovery.
I should like to single out and commend two areas: the attention I had in Recovery immediately after the operation, was very reassuring, and also, the nursing teams that ran so efficiently on Havey 1 Ward. Both did a suberb job.
