"Excellent professional care"

About: Tameside General Hospital

My son recently had an emergency operation at the hospital. The care he received from the A & E department was amazing, early diagnosis soon had him admitted to the children's ward. Throughout his stay he was treated with dignity and care as a young adolescent. The doctors, consultants, nurses and every member of staff were so caring and helpful. The doctors explained everything and when required acted very swiftly. All the theatre staff were amazing and very reassuring. I feel very grateful that we live close to the hospital and that we have such wonderful professional care in our NHS.

Our aim is to consistently provide caring, compassionate care for all the patients who use Tameside Hospital. Thank you for taking the time to provide an example of this, which we will pass onto the team.
