Following a minor procedure (which had a significant risk of infection) i developed an extreemly high temperature and became very unwell. I was able to contact the consultant and his staff who arranged for my immediate admission. I was in hospital for 8 days while the in infection was treated with IV antibiotics, the care and treatment i recieved was excellent throughout my stay. I was lucky to be admitted to the Bostonian ward as a NHS patient because there were no other beds avaialble.
