The Dr was 40 mins late for the start of the surgery. I booked in with the reception & yet there wasn't any record of me being there. Tho the sister on the dept did come out to look for me, once the appointments had been distributed between the head Dr & the others under his appointments & she had my records but no conformation I'd arrived.. She took me straight in to see the doctor, he was furious with her, as he said in front of me 'You know I don''t like to see patients on their first appointment.' She tried to explained I was already 40 minutes late. He huffed & read though my notes ignoring her as she continued to say. 'all the other Drs had there first patients.' He argued with me about my symptoms & told me I couldn't possible have any of the symptoms. He asked why I cleared my throat on a morning. Rather than listening to me he argued that I couldn't have blood in my mouth so there was no need I was been ridiculous in his opinion & inferred my GP practice were incompetent. As the Reflux Disease I hadn't gone to see him about wasn't been properly medicated & I had the right to ask for my medication changing. He was rude, aggressive in nature to both me & the sister & although he did his job, on that first appointment, I had a camera down my nose & throat. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. The rest of the staff were polite, friendly & informative. Though they could have let patients know sooner that he hadn't arrived yet, we'd waited 30 minutes not knowing why the surgery hadn't started.
