"The exercises were working very well and I was 90% better"

About: St Helens Hospital / Pain Management

(as the patient),

I entered physiotherapy treatment at St Helens Hospital in November. My physiotherapist was Adnan Arif.

Adanan asked about my problem and I told him of the details. He seemed to understand the problem by what I was telling him.

Adnan explained what he intended to do at that clinic and said he would give me an exercise routine to take home with me. The exercises were duly detailed to me, some treatment was carried out, and home I came.

On my return visit in early December, I told Adnan that the exercises were working very well and I was 90% better than when I started. After making a few checks, he was satisfied that I could be discharged to carry on with the exercises, to which he added a further one.

I was very well treated and informed. I was being treated for a trapped nerve in my right leg.
