"Being able to explain to somebody who understood me really helped"

About: Inclusion Matters Wirral

(as the patient),

I was suffering from severe anxiety since the age of 10 through bullying in school. I had my first panic attack at 10 years old (very scary).

I am now 38 with 2 children, married, and that comes with responsibilities. I work casual hours with horses. My anxiety started to become bad again over a couple of years and only a few months ago I was referred to Inclusion Matters.

Just being able to explain to somebody that understood anxiety and depression gave me advice to decrease these horrible feelings, really helped. Next step is CBT.

I really recommend it. Daily activity plans, relaxation CD and learning to think differently will hopefully slow me down! ! And I can continue these through life.
