I had an infection in my big toes which could not be treated with normal antibiotics. I was taken into the Halton hospital and put on a drip. When I was sent home, a district nurse attended to me and reapplied ressings to my toes for me. However, one of my toes did not heal and turned black instead, so I was then taken in to the Warrington hospital. This toe was removed and since then I have been visiting the chiropodist twice a week for 2 years.
I received excellent care in both hospitals - nothing was too much trouble.
