"Hysterectomy at St James hospital"

About: St James's University Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

In January of this year, I was a patient at St James hospital in Leeds for a hysterectomy. I was very satisfied with my treatment and also the care. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the bathroom, as I couldn't reach the toilet roll when sat on the toilet, and there was no chair or shelf to put your clothes or spectacles on when washing.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences I am pleased to hear that the services commissioned by Leeds PCT were of a high standard. I will share your comments with St James hospital regarding the bathroom and washing facilities with a view to improve services for future patients.
