I arrived at the Montagu hospital at 9.15 and was called in at 9.20. Within minutes, I was being attended by the nurse to carry out my eye operation. This was very interesting to me, as I had not seen this machine before and so thought it was marvellous. The nurse and doctor were both outstanding in their attitude and behaviour towards me. I was made to feel very relaxed.
