i have a grade 3 severe bladder prolapse n as i only recently discovered it n my gp didnt know much he sent me here. i was scared as my bladder was falling out my vagina. the woman who checked was very rude and unsympathetic. i was crying cz i was that scared n she just rolled ger eyes n told me to do pelvic floor exercises n not lift anything heavy. i asked about having a pessary fitted as i cant be active n it hurts me plus i have a baby to look after n she told me i cudnt have one...no explanatiin why or anything. i asked to be refered to a urogynaecologist who is more experienced in prolspses n she sed no that i shud go to my gp n ask him to refer me to a phydio to make sure im doin pelvic floor exercises correctly.....no amount of pf's will make my bladder go back up into my vagina n back into place i need surgery!! any woman with a prolapse shud be seen by a urogyn bot a regular gyn cz they dont know much about it. also u shud teach ur staffto have some empathy towards ppl n not treat em like rubbish...ur bladder falling out of ur vagina is not something to dismiss or be taken lightly and rolling ur eyes at a women who.is crying cz shes terrifies is disgusting
