"Awaiting ear surgery"

I was referred for ear surgery in November 2012 & Had my preoperative assessment in December 2013 , i then eventually got an appoint for may 2013 after informing the consultants secetary that he 26 week time limit was up & that my preoperative asseement had expired . Low & behold i received a surgery appointment & new preoperative assessment within 1/52 . The week prior to my surgery i received a telephone call for the surgeons secretary informing my surgery had to be cancelled due to lack of equipment i recieved an appointment for 22nd may 2013 istarved from midnight as advised & arrived on the elective day surgery unit @ 7 am as requested & was still sat there at 17.00 hours to be informed it was cancelled yet again by the consultant who eventually turned up & avoided use of the word cancellation until pinned down & the exuse was the theatre lists had over run & would be put as a priority & yet it is now the 28th of may & still no appointment . I feel that they have no consideration that people work full time & have to arrange time off especially when you also work for NHS & have a family to consider . I now feel that i will have to go down the official complaints route
