"Surprise at the speed of appointments"

Saw my Doctor at Lister House in Harlow on Wednesday 23/4/2013 Got the phone call for my appointment on Thursday 24/4/.2013 for the clinic Went to St Margaret's for the the appointment on the morning of Thursday 25/4/2013 This hospital has always been brilliant as far as I am concerned but excelled it's self this time I had expected a crowded waiting area and a possibly long wait but went in to see the doctor on time It was only when I got to the Mammogram Dept I realised how busy the clinic must have been Mammogram and then a bit of a wait for scan but that was understandable I got plenty of information, the opportunity to ask questions and a good result The waiting room was very pleasant with plenty of magazines and ice cold water to drink if required Back to the clinic to discuss results and was seen as soon as I got back there A copy of the letter sent to my Doctor was received very quickly so I also know what was written to her which confirmed what I had been told Very calming atmosphere I think, the patient whatever the result must feel very reassured that everything possible will be done by what would seem to be staff that care about helping people The hospital seemed to be very spick and span and I ended my visit with a very good cup of coffee in the Cafe I miss seeing the very old buildings which used to fascinate me but the new layout would seem to be a very efficient use of space and a was surprised to see the site now has a Community Hospital Parking was not difficult and whilst I am not sure about charging for parking in any Hospital it was less than I expected there
