"Centre of Excellence"

I was admitted to Ward 39 of the cardiac centre for open heart surgery at the end of October 2013. I was under the care of a Consultant Surgeon and his team and a Consultant Anaesthetist and his team and CICU. I was involved in my care at every stage of treatment. Words cannot express my heartfelt thanks(excuse the pun!) for everyone's skill and care. I couldn't have received better care in the most expensive hospital in the country. Many people criticise the NHS but Blackpool residents should be proud of this amazing hospital. I have made wonderful progress and hope to be up on the Lakeland fells this year! God bless you all.
