"Cancelled Eye appointment"

Some time ago I was referred to prince Charles eye clinic after damaging my eye and slight blurred vision, the first appointment did recommend monitoring my condition, but also recommended plastic surgery to lift my eye lids. The next appt I thought was for my eye, but it was for surgery on the lids. The next appt was to remove the stitches, at that time the surgeon discharged me. So my last appt on May 1st I thought was finally for my eye, no, after spending two and a half hours on public transport to make the 10.15 time, I was greeted with Your appointment was cancelled as you were discharged?. The Dr agreed to see me but I was forgotten about so left after waiting a further hour. They seem to have overlooked the initial problem for which I was first referred and wasted my value able time. Wake up nHS and don't be so quick in meeting targets and reducing appointment lists.
