What I liked
Theatre admissions unit/Day surgery good. All staff(nursing/receptionists etc) made an effort to put me at ease.Friendliness of all staff throughout hospital surprised me-very willing to help in any way.A worrying experience was made much nicer.
What could be improved
Northern General is a large rambling place-could be signposted better.Not coming from Sheffield we had to drive around the grounds a bit.Also,needs 'sprucing-up' quite a bit-parts of it do look scruffy.
