"Emergency eye examination"

About: Liskeard Community Hospital

The hospital was my first port of call due to it being bank holiday as I was concerned with problems ocurring with my left eye. I arrived at 7.30pm and was immediately able to talk with the receptionist (very polite, understanding and very helpful) who arranged for me to see a nurse, again immediately. The nurse was very knowlegeable, put my mind at rest and after a few eye tests made an appointment for me to see a doctor that same evening. Again the doctor was very helpful and gave encouraging advice. I can only say that my overall visit to the hospital in Liskeard was a very pleasant experience due to the kindness of all the staff. I would not hesitate in suggesting that anyone who has an emergency situation and living in the area of Liskeard, and has transport, should make this hospital their first port of call. You would not regret the experience.
