"no registrar or doctor available on acute..."

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

I was disgusted to find that there was not a registrar or doctor available to assess patients being admitted on to the ward from A&E. The staff nurse was phoning departments trying to locate a registrar but had no luck so patients were not seen until the following day. I was not given a identity bracelet during my admission on to the ward. Patients were being named and discussed very loudly by staff on the ward . The food was cold and dinner was left on the plate despite me not being at my bed.
