I have been under the care of the Fernhurst Treatment Centre since October 2012 for the condition above. I have been treated with the upmost respect and dignity by all the staff in the department. The atmosphere is very professional but relaxed and the one occasion I had to be admitted the same degree of proffesionalism was exhibited. My treatment will continue until May 2013 and I have continued faith in all those involved with my condition. Those who continually criticise the NHS have no idea of the world outside the UK and what a valuable asset it is delivering free at the point of delivery treatment. It's not perfect, and it never will be. Go elsewhere in the world and you either pay for it or go without it because you are poor. The NHS treats the person whatever his social position and not according to the depth of his pockets! Long may it continue with St Richards as a prime example of excellence.
