"Pain management"

About: Queen's Hospital, Burton Upon Trent

Had a consultations which went very well, I was told it would be about 6 weeks for my spinal injections, rang to enquire was told Queens Hospital at Burton on Trent had not informed them of any theatre space for pain management so just on the waiting list until they are informed. When the Nations was not run by Queens i everything ran very smoothly, now it's just a shambles. Have been having these injections for years but this department doesn't seem to be noticed by queens .

Thank you for your comments and I am sorry that your experience for pain management has not been as expected. The pain management service is not managed by Burton Hospitals; this service is provided and managed by Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust (SSOTP). Therefore please can we request that you contact SSOTP Patient Advice Liaison Service who will be able to take specific details of your complaint and investigate further.
