"Excellent treatment for my 85 year old mum with..."

My mum was very worried and concerned about the endoscopy she needed to have. The nursing staff, however, put her at ease and were very kind to her. The doctor could have taken more account of her condition - he spoke very quickly and did not explain his questions enough. He was clinically efficient but not caring. On the whole however, the experience was very positive and I cannot fault the nursing staff - in terms of the treatment and care shown.

Thank you very much for taking the time to let us know about the recent experience your mum had. We are very pleased to hear that, overall, you and your mum were very pleased with the care she received. Our nursing staff will be delighted to hear that they made her as comfortable as possible and your comments will certainly be passed on to them. Clearly there are still areas where we can improve though and we are sorry that you felt as though your mum could have had more explanation from her doctor. This feedback will also be passed on. Once again many thanks for taking the time to post your comment. We really value feedback from our patients as it enables us to know where our strengths are so that all patients can benefit, and it also enables us to act swiftly if there are any areas where we need to improve.
