In December 2012 I was admitted for total right hip replacement surgery. I was very nervous at the thought of going into hospital having only once before in my life (I am now 70yrs of age) been in a hospital for 1 night only. However, any fear I had was quickly dispelled as right from the very first visit everyone I had contact with made it all so relaxed and normal. In a way, it was like going into a very good hotel and life continues as normal. It was amazing how smoothly the whole experience went. Everyone was so kind and friendly. I was up on my feet 24 hours later and never looked back. I feel it has made me a stronger person for the hospital experience and I would recommend everyone who needs elective orthopaedic surgery to choose The Horder Centre. It is par excellence.
