"It wasn't clear when I had to return the heart monitor"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital / Cardiology

(as the patient),

I was referred by my GP for a 24 hour heart trace monitor to be fitted. The appointment arrived in reasonable time. On the day I was seen within a reasonable time of my appointment.

My only complaint is that it was not made clear in the appointment letters that the monitor would have to be returned to the hospital early the next morning.

I did manage to do this with a little juggling of pre arranged things but it would have been better to know about this need for the monitor before accepting the appointment.

Dear Syphon285 Thank you for sharing your feedback about your appointment for a 24 hour heart trace monitor, and particularly for letting us know that the need to return the heart trace monitor could have been communicated to you better in advance of your appointment. We will make sure that this useful feedback is shared with the team so that they can improve the appointment and communication process.
