"Ward 11 day case"

I was admitted to ward 11 as a day case on the 3rd of January. All of the nurses and HCAs were fantastic. I was quite anxious as this was my first ever operation at the age of 21. The anaesthetist and all of the theatre staff made me feel at ease. The recovery nurses were absolutely brilliant and easy to talk to. I am so pleased with how tidy my stitches are (the surgeon was also very considerate of my tattoo and didn't ruin it) I am recovering well and I think this has been helped a lot by such a stress free, pleasant experience on day of the op. After so many bad experiences at other hospitals I have got to say that I take my hat off to every single person that cared for me that day at the general. You all deserve a big pat on the back. A big thank you to ward 11 and theatre 7!
