"Diet advice for health"

About: Leatherhead Hospital

I saw a lovely lady dietician this week. She gave me some very good basic advice and a lot of hope that I can eat myself better and avoid a gallstone operation next week. I should add this is because she realised very quickly that the symptoms I have been suffering are most likely due to Coeliac Disease after all - which can be managed with a gluten free diet. I still have to undergo the relevent tests but the Op has been postponed and will not happen if all goes well. Giving me even a little bit of hope and optimism made my day!

Thank you very much for your comments, I'm delighted you had a good result from your appointment with the dietitian, good luck with your diet change, I hope that is working well for you. I'll pass on your feedback to the dietetic team. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how you got on. With kind regards Tessa Webb Community and patient involvement co-ordinator Tessa.webb@nhs.net
