"Excellent care from arriving to leaving"

About: Lister Hospital

Anything else?

I recently fell down the stairs injuring my ankle and went to Lister's A&E dept. I was seen very quickly and sent for an x-ray. I then went to minor injuries to be told I'd fractured my ankle but they wanted to investigate the fibia area. After another x-ray they found that my fibia was fractured in 2 places. I am a mother of a 5 yr old and 10 mth old and to be told that I would need to have plaster above my knee was a shock! The team were caring, understanding and incredibly professional. Although I am left with a lot of discomfort, I can not recommend Lister's staff highly enough, especially the minor injuries unit + the plaster team. Now just hoping for a quick recovery! Thank you.

Glad to hear that everything went so well for you and you're now on your way to making a full (and hopefully speedy) recovery. We'll make sure that all the teams involved in your care recently get to read your kind words.
