My husband was admitted to A and E in an unresponsive state. Despite 3 unresponsive patients being admitted within 15mins, the care was exemplary by nursing and medical staff, they carried out their duties calmly and competantly, keeping us well informed of test results and treatment. My daughters and I were treated with respect and dignity. My husband subsequently spent a week on ACU and then a week on Ward 2, I cannot praise every member of staff enough, nothing was too much trouble for them and whenever I phoned they were courteous and informative. The care, compassion and respect contrasts sharply with the experience we had in 2012 at a hospital in North Staffordshire, please don't reduce the services at Stafford hospital as I would not like to go back there again. Thank you everone, I am indebted to you.
