I was offered an appointment for a routine abdominal ultrasound 2 weeks after seeing my GP, ( this included Christmas and New Year B/H in that 2 weeks). On arrival at the hospital the reception staff offered me any help, however there were clear signs to the Ultrasound dept. where again the receptionist was helpful , polite and showed me to the waiting room I was seen at the specified time and the procedure was carried out. Explanation was given to me as to what the procedure involved. The radiographer/radiologist (?) was polite and very professional, and I was advised my GP would have the results in 1 week. I could not fault this service.
