Anything else?
I attended the A and E department because I got oven cleaner in my eye. I rinsed it out quickly with water but had some blurring of vision and pain, so my husband took me to the hospital. The receptionists were polite and efficient, and although they were busy I didn't have to wait too long - the electronic display gave some indication of how long you would have to wait and it was accurate. The nurse practitioner gave me a thorough examination and she was kind and reassuring. She gave me some treatment to take away, to prevent infection, and told me what to do if my eye continued to be painful. Fortunately all went well and I am very grateful for the care I was given.
"Quick and efficient care for a minor injury"
