I was in the Richard Wells Ward for two nights in November 2013 for gynae surgery and treated exceptionally well during my stay. Staff we're extremely kind and caring, ensuring painkillers were available if required. They would also explain everything clearly when I asked and one lovely nurse even made me a cup of tea at 2am one morning when I was in pain and unable to sleep. This was the second time I have had gynae surgery at Bedford in 18 months and cannot praise them highly enough. The food was good too. Thanks to all the lovely staff who looked after me.
