Anything else?
I had been left with a problem with my left foot following surgery over 28 months earlier at another trust and I refused to accept that there was nothing that could be done to alleviate the pain and discomfort that I suffered following that surgery. After seeing several consultants at other trusts as well as private I was referred to Wythenshawe where the problem was correctly identified and I had surgery to free the trapped nerves. I knew the moment I came round the surgery had been successful despite having a pain block in place! The staff were fantastic with me as I was scared of further surgery and I was reassured that I was in safe hands. The staff spoke very highly of the consultant who did my surgery. I found this very reassuring. The food was lovely as well; tasty, well presented and piping hot. The difference this surgery has made to my life is unbelievable. I still face further surgery to correct other problems I have been left with following the original surgery. I will be operated on by the same consultant. I'm not looking forward to the surgery, but I do feel in safe hands. I have been treated at all times with respect and dignity. Thank you.
