"Unhappy with Sheldon Unit"

About: Good Hope Hospital / Clinical oncology

(as a relative),

Why are carers manning this unit? No qualified staff were evident. Explanation given that they are qualified to dispense medicine. Can't answer any questions as to whether patient has had the antibiotics they were admitted for as they are not nurses.

One carer asked another what was warfarin for? Another read the leaflet inside the tablet packaging to discover that the patient was diabetic.

Doors locked, patient in isolated room with no access to toilet.
