"admission to hospital via ambulance"

About: Scunthorpe General Hospital / Accident and emergency Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I unfortunetly fell ill on Christmas eve suddenly with a sever headache loss of balance and vomiting. My daughter rang 999 and I was admitted to A&E via ambulance and then subsequently to CDU and ward 2.

The care I received throughout from first responder paramedic to the nurses and doctors on A&E and the wards was excellent. I was treated with respect and dignity, treated efficiently with all proceedures explained.

I would like to let the staff aware of how well I was looked after throughout my stay within Scunthorpe General Hospital and would like to say thank you

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your kind comments. I'm glad to hear you had a positive experience of the hospital in what must have been a frightening time for you and your family. I have shared your comments with the relevant senior manager and I'm sure the teams will very much appreciate your feedback.

Best wishes, Sarah Mainprize
