"Annoyed and still struggling!"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

Anything else?

I visited in October to have my diagnosis confirmed. I was sent for more tests which was fine as they were quick and dates were soon enough after initial consultation. I was made to wait at least 9 weeks from my first test, 6 from my last to hear anything at all. All I recieved was a letter that was a copy of what was sent to my GP. I do not understand any of it. I sent an email to be told my follow up would be in October 2014 as discussed, but having been sent results that are clearly non understandable, I feel is not very professional. I have now had to take time to see my own GP to see if they can explain it and if not possibly referred back into the system. I'm still stuck in one place with regards to what I'm going through and I feel like just another number on the sheet. Doesn't matter whether my case is the mildest they have seen, how can anyone understand medical terms who is not a Dr. I'm hoping for others that go through this will have better chances of getting something explained to them. Other than my little things above, everything else was great, initial consultation, staff etc, polite and quite friendly :-)
