"A Hysterectomy for Christmas"

About: Tameside General Hospital

Anything else?

I found out I had to have surgery in early December, I needed to have a hysterectomy quite urgently and the earliest it could be done was Christmas Eve. I have to say I was very frightened about having this done. I can't believe its a week after my surgery now and I feel so much better in every way. I would like to say a huge thank you to my consultant and his team, and all the staff on the ladies health unit who looked after me while I was in hospital, I couldn't have had better care and attention anywhere else you were all fantastic! Also thank you for my Christmas gift, it was very unexpected and very nice.
