(as the patient),

I would just like to say that the care I received at the QMC yesterday was exceptional. The staff in A & E were very attentive; from the point of check in onwards. They were very polite and caring. Adrian Smith an A & E Nurse/Doctor was excellent and able to put a canella in with ease. (Something that others have failed several times before on a different occasion making me nervous and potentially not the best patient. )

The staff on the ward I was taken to were all very helpful and caring, despite being very busy they didn’t show signs of stress when dealing with patients and relatives.

I was seen quickly and taken seriously. During a time when I can imagine staff are extremely busy dealing with a variety of Christmas related issues, all the staff were friendly and focused. Please pass on my thanks, I was very worried and being cared for so well eased my concerns immensely.
