Anything else?
I attended the hospital for a sigmoidoscopy and a endoscopy. The endoscopy I have had done before without too much bother; I certainly didn't remember it as a problem; unlike my recent procedures. I felt the procedures themselves were carried out medically with too much haste, not allowing the body to get used to what was happening. The endoscopy particularly was far to quick and forceful; making it very unpleasant indeed. I was sent to get dressed in the toilet afterwards and sent immediately home. I was in quite considerable pain so they sat me in in a chair in a small corridor where I was in the way, so I left for home. No recovery area, no recovery time, no drink offered, not even a sip of water. I remember reading thank you notes from patients who had been happy with their wonderful treatment. I thought I was in the wrong place. Seriously unimpressed !
