Anything else?
I gave birth to my first child in November 2013 at the Birth Centre. I cannot fault anything at all. The midwives were all fantastic and I felt really well cared for, my birth plan was read and discussed with me and I was well supported throughout. I found that I didn't need any pain relief apart from gas and air and I'm sure this was due to the relaxed homely environment and the quality midwifery care I reveived. The birthing pool, mood lighting and comfy surroundings made the experience more natural rather than medical. Postnatally I was able to stay in the birth centre post natal room which was also excellent with first class spotlessly clean facilities, even my husband was able to stay the night. I didn't think this type of facility was available on the NHS!! I have had such a positive birth experience due to the staff there, thankyou all!
"Excellent midwives and care received at Birth..."
