I feel I must write to express my admiration and appreciation for the care and treatment I received at the NNUH on 28th December. A and E staff were caring and efficient but I would particularly like to send thanks and admiration to the staff who cared for me in the Acute Medical Assessment Unit. I want to commend in particular an exceptional nurse whose compassion and good humour (and unflagging energies on a long day's stint) shone like a beacon in the face of all the stringencies that the Service is undergoing. I was in Bay 8 with mostly very elderly patients who were looked after with extreme kindness and patience. Please note that in Section 4 there is no option for me to write Acute Medical Assessment Unit
