I went into A&E then into the Trolley area then into MAU then into Waverley Ward,then into Hospital at home . I can say that this has been my best ever time in this Hospital , from start to finish ,I was looked after by caring people , spoken to rather than spoken about to others around me. even the porter was fantastic . I highly commend all the areas I went into . I can't praise the staff or service enough. Only one area I had a problem with was the X ray unit, I was sent back there for a second X ray staff from the trolley area,& porter came to check on me after 2 hours I was still waiting while others went ahead of me. the corridor was cold eventually the Porter Lee went in to ask why I was still waiting . they said they were not going to do another X ray on me as they did not think they could get a better picture than the one they already had .I have no problem with that . What I do object to was WHY did they not phone the trolley area or the porter to take me back ? I was glad to get back to the trolley area, I then went to MAU then Waverley ward all areas were like Heathrow airport yet they all were so caring & went out of their way to keep me comfortable & informed of everything that was happening . they all deserve an a wow award.
