"The cavell centre"

About: Peterborough City Hospital

Anything else?

Being admitted here 3 times when I was in a very dark place. The hospital was warming and inviting but felt the staff was judgemental and didn't listen. I shouldn't of been in here 3 times but this happened because I was not listened too. The second time before I was discharged they said I was 'fit and 'well to not be in a 'mental health unit' 2 months later I was admitted again! 5 days later they said i could be discharged again! I kicked a big fuss off saying I wasn't safe etc, so they gave me 1 more night. It wasn't going to vanish over night surely? I was right, it didn't but they still discharged me! I felt I wasn't safe and told them that but they thought they knew best. If they had listened the first time I wouldn't of been put through all of that extra pain I was already feeling :( Luckily I have made good recovery.

Thank you for your comments I do not manage The Cavell Centre however I will ensure the correct staff are made aware of them.
