"nice staff apart from receptionist, too long..."

I visited the a and e of the sunderland eye infirmary today 28/12/2013, and I cannot complain about the treatment of the nurse and doctors whom I received treatment, they were very nice and helpful. What i found was awful was the 3 to 4 hours waiting time, and the receptionist with a non friendly attitude. The young doctor said " sorry about the time you had to wait but theres not a lot of staff in at weekends", I found that most peculiar, As I had been told saturdays were very busy and indeed it was today.
